The Internal quality assurance of the assessment process from within a centre or organization by sample planning, monitoring and advising on the practice of assessors. This includes both the verification of competence-based qualifications and moderation of taught programs in the learning environment.
The qualification provides learners with the opportunity to develop skills, knowledge and understanding to enable learners to perform the role of internal quality assurer in their subject area. The objective of the qualification includes supporting a role in the workplace and meeting relevant programs of learning.

- Understanding the principles and practices of internally assuring the quality of assessment.
- Internally assure the quality of assessment.
Methods of assessment will include:
- Written assignments
- Direct observation
- Professional Discussion
- Examination of product of work
- Questioning
- Witness Statement
Entry requirements:
Learners will need to have completed L3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievements.
